Journal of Food Investigation

Dear Colleagues,

The Journal of Food Investigation is a quarterly bilingual (English and Hungarian) scientific journal that has been published for almost 70 years. The publisher is the University of Szeged (SZTE / U-Szeged / USZ).

The Scopus-indexed journal is published quarterly in English and/or Hungarian.

Food science, food technology, food safety and nutrition are the areas of interest. The journal welcomes manuscripts presenting new results and developments, comparative studies, narrative reviews related to food science, including food microbiology, food chemistry, colloidal chemistry, food physics, food technology, food engineering, biotechnology, food economics, food marketing, and food legislation.

In particular, manuscripts in the fields of food science, food technology, food safety and nutrition, and are welcomed. The journal prioritises food safety and nutrition science topics, and encourages scientific publications related to.

Authors are invited to upload their manuscripts to the Open Journal System (OJS) operated by the University of Szeged (registration is required for the first time). More information on the requirements in terms of format and content are available at the Information/Submissions section of the website.

Manuscripts will be peer-reviewed by anonymous referees. If you would like to participate as a Reviewer, please tick the appropriate box when registering (Yes, I will register as a Reviewer).
